About the role

reMarkable is growing rapidly and to meet the expectations of our ever-growing customer base we are expanding our supply chain network globally. To manage the increasing complexity we have embarked on an exciting journey to implement an ambitious target state for our supply chain and operations which includes best-in-class processes and technologies.

As a Supply Chain Development Manager you will be part of the team that is responsible for the strategic initiatives for developing and improving our global supply chain network and operations. You will leverage our top tier cloud-based supply chain management platforms to build organizational capabilities and enable the continued scaling of reMarkable.

By working closely with the management team in the Supply Chain department and key stakeholders across reMarkable, you understand our strategic direction and help define target states. Based on this knowledge you are able to translate the business needs into solution requirements that will form a strategic roadmap and improvement initiatives.

For the prioritized initiatives you will be a key person in defining, planning and following-up on them. You also lead select strategic initiatives yourself, contributing to the scale-up of our team and the digitalization of our processes.

We are looking for a purpose driven and ambitious colleague to be a part of our team. You will be given the opportunity to work across all domains in our end-to-end global supply chain. This role requires both a strategic mindset but also ability to focus on the operational part of project execution. You will be part of the Supply Chain department and report to the Director and Head of Digital Supply Chain.

Main tasks and responsibilities will involve:

  • Lead cross-functional implementation and improvement projects, including managing and collaborating with external consultants and technology partners.

  • Contribute to defining target states and strategic roadmap for our digital supply chain.

  • Translate supply chain’s business needs into solution requirements and user stories.

  • Drive prioritization decisions and collaborate with stakeholders from the supply chain team to allocate the right resources.

  • Recognize organizational limitations and manage senior stakeholders to quickly remove roadblocks to delivery.

  • Contribute to establish world class processes across the extended end-to-end supply chain by leveraging our top-tier cloud-based supply chain management platforms and best practices.

  • Build, configure and manage workflows, processes and business rules in our cloud-based technology platforms

  • Devise and implement strategies for continually improving supply chain technologies and evaluating the latest technological trends.

Who are you?

  • You have experience from Supply Chain Management and Operations and have probably worked quite a lot with process improvement.

  • You have strong project management skills and can demonstrate ability to deliver results. You have a track record of successfully completed projects.

  • You are interested in technology and have a good understanding of how, in the supply chain domain, processes and systems are interlinked. You are not afraid of getting into the details.

  • You should have experience with implementation – from the business side – of o9 Solutions (or similar Advanced Planning Systems, APS), SAP S4/HANA Public Cloud (or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems) or Arena Solutions (or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems). Other experiences and skills may also be considered relevant as an alternative.

  • Experience actually working in APS, ERP and/or PLM, including superuser and skill in setup/configuration, is a plus.

  • You are a team player who is proactive and likes to work in a fast-paced work environment alongside talented colleagues.

  • At the same time you are self motivated and dedicated with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

  • You are eager and enthusiastic with a desire to make a positive impact at a growing tech company.

  • You have a minimum of a Masters degree in relevant subjects.

  • You have 5-10+ years of experience in consulting, high-tech/consumer electronics, eCommerce or other relevant industries.
