Want to help millions of people think better?

reMarkable is a Norwegian company on a mission to help people think better through technology in a distracted world. We have sold more than a million devices worldwide, we recently became Norway’s latest unicorn, and now have over 350 employees in Oslo. In what feels like no time, we've gone from a small startup to being one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe.

Following the successful launch of reMarkable 2, which was named one of TIME's top 100 inventions of 2020, we have set ourselves ambitious growth and product development goals for the long run. To help us get there, we need new colleagues that want to make a real difference through their work – and that’s where you come in.

About the role

As our new colleague, you will hold an important role in operating our global, customer-centric supply chain to deliver world class customer experiences. We operate our supply chain through external partners, and you will monitor, coordinate and manage our partners’ operations and performance. Tasks related to this will include following up KPIs and SLAs, ensuring proper flow of various transport documents and solving various ad-hoc situations that may arise. You will participate in various internal coordination and improvement fora together with our supply chain planning and customer care teams.

As a member of our Supply Chain department, you will get to collaborate with cross-functional teams of dedicated and competent colleagues on a day-to-day basis

Examples of tasks and responsibilities

  • Handling and coordination of shipments across our global supply chain (manufacturers, inventory transfers, returns etc)

  • Close follow-up of and troubleshooting with global logistics partners with regards to SLAs and their performance

  • Follow-up and monitoring customs clearance processes and smooth operation across channels, transport companies, customs brokers and 3PL

  • Booking and follow-up of shipments to retailers/distributors, business customers, and between warehouses

  • Follow up and ensure quality of key documentation (reports, SOPs, invoices, etc.)

  • Use and make the most out of ERP and similar technology, making us scale in a good manner

  • Follow-up on return shipments and related handling at our partners’ sites

  • Operational coordination between channels (Retail, B2B, B2C, etc.)

  • Support projects to acquire new markets and identify local requirements

Who are you?

You are structured and able to pick up the small, important details, but also manage to take a step back to consider the bigger picture. You are a critical thinker and are proactive in challenging assumptions, existing routines and processes. You are a team player with good verbal and written English skills, additional language skills such as Chinese or Spanish could be an advantage

You are self going and dedicated with strong problem solving and communication skills and thrive on a high pace and new challenges. The role requires a pro-active, analytical and team-oriented mindset with a keen interest and operational experience in logistics. The future is digital, so you would need a drive to learn and use key technology (e.g ERP) for scaling and handling operations in a good way. We believe that you have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience (e.g. from international logistics, eCommerce or similar). If you have previous relevant work experience, it would be differentiating with experience with supply chain technology support systems, global air freight or forwarding/spedition, operational excellence work, reverse logistics (RMAs/returns). A Bachelor’s degree is expected, but relevant experience can offset this requirement.
