The team you will be joining

You will join the Partner Management team in the Sourcing and Procurement department at reMarkable. A dedicated team of professionals with the goal to craft a seamless global partner network, ensuring quality at every stage.

As Sourcing Manager, Direct your role in the team

  • Your mission will be Contract Lifecycle Management with partners and contribute to sustainable and positive relationships while protecting reMarkable’s best interest. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Creating sourcing strategies

  • Running RFIs and RFPs (implementing sourcing strategies)

  • Negotiating and closing contracts

  • Supplier Relationship Management

  • Establish and run management level meeting foras (facilitating between partner management and our management)

  • Contract Management Responsibilities such as conducting QBRs

  • Be an Escalation point for contracts within your scope

  • COGS monitoring and tracking throughout contract lifetime

  • Contribute to continuous improvements and process development within the partner management team

  • Support other team members with analysis and creation of deliverables to support decision making

  • This role will require business traveling between 10%-20% of workhours

To thrive in this role, we imagine the following:

  • You want an opportunity to shape and develop your own role with ownership of your tasks. You are curious and have a growth mindset, seeing new challenges as an opportunity to develop yourself. You’re cooperative, comfortable with collaborating with partners from different cultures. Likely success factors:
  • 2-6 years of experience from role with analytical content within, or related to supply chain

  • Higher education in relevant subject areas (e.g. business/engineering/logistics/industrial economics) or equivalent

You have hands-on experience with some of the following, and an openness to learn the rest:

  • Creating and executing sourcing strategies

  • Use analysis to illuminate complex problems and arrive at fact based recommendations

  • Relationship building, you can build trust with our global partners for successful longterm partnerships

  • Working with partner contracts and negotiations to find win-win scenarios for sustainable partnerships keeping in mind reMarkable’s interests

  • Clear communication and an awareness of the cultural factors influenced by communication

  • Applying business logic to assess financial implications of different scenarios

  • Having experience working in a large complex organization is a benefit
