The recruitment process – step by step

  • Interview and clarification of expectations – Who are you and what are your dreams?

    We follow a standardised recruitment process that ensures that the people we hire really love their new job and workplace. This means that your abilities, your commitment, and your personal journey align with reMarkable as an organisation and the global mission we are on. Send us your application, CV and any other details we ask for in the ad as an attachment. Give us a chance to get to know your qualities, your ambitions, and your past experiences, and tell us your dreams for the future.

  • Interview with your hiring manager – Tell us about yourself

    After a gentle introductory interview, you will be invited to a 45-60 minute interview with our recruitment manager for the position you are interested in. Here, you will be introduced to the entire department and the challenges they work on. We will discuss your application and CV, as well as what you believe you can bring to the position. The purpose of the conversation is to understand what you want to influence and how you can become part of reMarkable’s journey.

  • Work sample/Case assignment – Show us what you can do and want

    We invite our potential candidates to roll up their sleeves and work with us. For 1.5–2 hours you get the opportunity to work on a relevant case together with a team, or on your own. The purpose is to understand how you work and how you think, and to see if you will fit in and thrive in the team you are going to work with. We give you topical assignments that are as relevant as possible – the type of challenge we at reMarkable face each day. So that you can get as realistic an insight as possible into our everyday life.

  • Socialising – come and introduce yourself

    After the case assignment, we invite our candidates to an informal lunch. This gives you the opportunity to meet more of our team, and get a broader picture of our culture and our people. But don’t worry, you won’t have to do anything outside your comfort zone, just relax (mingle) and enjoy yourself.

  • Interview with Head of Department – Get to know the journey and your role

    If all goes well and everyone wants to continue the process, you get to touch base with a member of our leadership team. Together you will discuss your position, your role in the company, and our vision.

  • Reference checks – Time to get excited?

    We follow up all references to tick all the boxes and move on to the next step of the hiring process.

  • Job offer – We hope you’ll accept!

    If we are a good match, we will contact you and give you an offer. You will receive your contract by e-mail. Hopefully you’ll want to take your career further with us!

  • Signing and onboarding – We look forward to meeting you!

    Everyone is happy and we sort out all the formalities and start the onboarding process together with you. If you have the time and interest, you are most welcome to join all our social gatherings, to get to know your new colleagues better.
